Contemporary wedding photography and film

My approach is editorial, calm and unobtrusive. I stay close enough to notice the details, but quiet enough that you can move through your day without feeling watched. I step in when it helps with light, structure or timing – never to turn you into something you’re not.

I prefer a slower, thoughtful pace: short portrait sessions across the day instead of one long block, often in softer evening light. The images are reduced, clear and timeless. No drama, no clichés.

I’ve been photographing weddings for many years across Germany and Europe. Hamburg and the north, Italian countryside, city hotels, masserie. I work intuitively with what’s already there: gestures, interactions, quiet transitions, the atmosphere between you and your people.

To keep everything cohesive, I mix digital and analog. It all comes together in one consistent visual language from getting ready until late at night. Honest, refined and true to how it felt.

The gallery moved us in a way we didn’t expect. It’s not just beautiful – it’s deeply personal, like stepping into a memory with all senses awake.
