FAQ
How is your approach?
I work calmly, intuitively, and discreetly. My aim is to document events honestly and unobtrusively—without interfering or drawing attention to myself. I adapt to the day and capture what happens without staging anything.
In which countries do you work?
I photograph weddings both in Germany and across Europe. This includes cities like Hamburg and Berlin, as well as destination weddings in Italy (Tuscany and Puglia), Copenhagen, Austria, Spain and Mallorca. In general, I’m available for weddings throughout Europe
How does a wedding day work for you?
The day usually starts with the getting ready. If you like, this is followed by a first look or a short photo shoot before the ceremony. I like to divide couple shoots into small sections—for example, a short moment in the afternoon and again at sunset. The light is then particularly soft and beautifully calm. It's important to me that you don't feel like you have to “perform for the photos.” My shoots usually last 20 to 30 minutes.
What do you offer?
I accompany weddings photographically – primarily digitally, but also analog if desired. You can book analog photography as an add-on, as well as high-quality video recordings. In addition to classic highlight videos, I also offer analog Super 8 films—they have a unique aesthetic that cannot be achieved digitally. In addition, there is the option of designing a handmade wedding album—high-quality, simple, and timeless. All extras can be booked flexibly, even retrospectively.
How long have you been working as a wedding photographer?
I have been photographing weddings for almost a decade—with all the little and big moments that go with it. This experience helps me to remain calm and clear even under time pressure, changing light, or spontaneous changes. I know when it's time to be present—and when it's better to just observe.
Why are some pictures in black and white?
I choose black and white when it gives the moment more calm or depth. Some situations simply tell more in black and white. If you prefer certain pictures in color, that is of course possible.
Can we also book analog or Super 8 with you?
Yes, I offer both analog photography and Super 8 videos as add-ons. Both create a special atmosphere: a little rawer, more direct. If you like that, you can easily book it – even after the fact.
How early should we inquire with you?
Popular dates, especially on summer weekends, are often booked 12 to 18 months in advance. If you are planning on a specific date, it is best to contact me early, especially for destination weddings in the high season. A deposit is required to secure your date. After that, the day is yours. Please understand that I cannot reserve dates without a firm booking.
When will we receive the photos?
I only photograph a limited number of weddings per season so that I can give each reportage the attention it deserves. You will usually receive your finished gallery with all selected photos within 6 to 8 weeks. If you have also booked a video or Super 8 film, this will follow a little later – usually within 2 to 3 months.
