I’m so excited to share a glimpse into the wedding of Emilia & Thomas, held at the beautiful Masseria San Giovanni in Puglia. Their two-day celebration was a perfect mix of creativity, warmth, and that effortless feeling of dolce vita – relaxed, stylish, and deeply personal.
From the very beginning, it was clear how much thought and heart went into every detail. The couple fell in love with the Masseria the moment they saw it – and it made complete sense. The white stone architecture, the olive trees, and the open spaces reflected their energy and aesthetic perfectly.
The wedding day started in the bridal suite, where Emilia got ready in a stunning, custom-designed dress she had created together with Bridalstory – a design full of personality and timeless elegance. The ceremony took place in front of the chapel on the property, with Emilia’s best friend leading the ceremony and holding one of the most heartfelt and atmospheric speeches I’ve witnessed. The music the couple had chosen added even more emotion – especially the moment Emilia walked in.
After the ceremony, guests moved to the back lawn of the chapel for Aperitivo – with handmade mozzarella, freshly sliced Parma ham, and cool drinks under the afternoon sun. The mirrored wall behind the chapel reflected the movement, the laughter, and the golden light, adding an almost cinematic feel to this moment.
We split the couple shoot into two parts – a short session right after the ceremony around the Masseria, and a second one in the evening, in the olive grove as the sun started to set. The light was soft and warm, and the energy between Emilia & Thomas was infectious. These two are vibrant, open, and creative, and that came through in every frame.
Dinner was served in the Masseria’s courtyard, with a long table set around an old olive tree. White roses, candlelight, and minimal, elegant design created a setting that felt both elevated and completely natural. Much of the stationery and design elements were created by Emilia herself – her vision carried through in all the little details. The atmosphere was warm, full of laughter and conversations that lingered well into the evening.
One of the most moving parts of the day came later, when the celebration moved into the vaulted cellar. Family and friends held emotional speeches, and at one point, Emilia’s close friends played a song on the guitar – one with personal meaning – and the entire room joined in. It was one of those moments that quietly take your breath away.
From start to finish, this wedding felt truly honest and full of heart. Emilia & Thomas poured so much of themselves into the day – their personalities, their style, their joy. And I feel lucky I got to document every part of it.
