Tuscany Wedding Photographer

Tuscany is one of the most beautiful places in Italy to get married. Between the historic villas, quiet countryside roads, vineyards, olive trees, and warm evening light, it offers a setting that feels both elegant and relaxed.

I photograph weddings in Tuscany for couples who want images that feel natural, timeless, and true to the atmosphere of the day. My approach is calm and unobtrusive, with a balance of honest documentary moments and gentle direction when needed. The result is a gallery that reflects not just how everything looked, but how it felt to be there.

Whether you are planning a wedding at a private villa, a countryside estate, or a vineyard venue, Tuscany offers an incredible backdrop for a destination celebration.

Intimate Weddings and Multi-Day Celebrations

Tuscany works beautifully for different types of weddings. Some couples plan a small ceremony with close family and a dinner outdoors. Others host a full weekend with multiple events and guests staying on-site.

I photograph:

  • intimate weddings in Tuscany

  • destination weddings at villas and estates

  • multi-day wedding celebrations

  • countryside elopements

  • wedding weekends with welcome dinners and post-wedding events

No matter the size of the celebration, I approach it in the same way: with attention, care, and a focus on creating photographs that still feel honest years from now.

FAQ

Which Tuscany wedding venues are best for intimate wedding photography?

Smaller villas, private estates, and countryside properties are often especially good for intimate weddings because they offer privacy, beautiful surroundings, and a more relaxed pace. Venues with gardens, open views, or historic outdoor spaces work particularly well for both ceremonies and portraits.

Do Tuscany wedding venues offer accommodation for guests?

Many of them do. One of the advantages of getting married in Tuscany is that a lot of venues are set up for destination weddings, with on-site rooms or nearby accommodation for guests. This makes multi-day celebrations much easier to plan.

Can you photograph both the ceremony and reception at Tuscany wedding venues?

Yes, absolutely. Many venues are designed so that different parts of the day can happen in one place, which makes the experience feel seamless and allows the full story of the wedding to be documented naturally.

How is your approach?

I work calmly, intuitively, and discreetly. My aim is to document events honestly and unobtrusively—without interfering or drawing attention to myself. I adapt to the day and capture what happens without staging anything.

In which countries do you work?
I photograph weddings both in Germany and across Europe. This includes cities like Hamburg and Berlin, as well as destination weddings in Tuscany, Puglia, Copenhagen, Austria, Spain and Mallorca. In general, I’m available for weddings throughout Europe

How does a wedding day work for you?

The day usually starts with the getting ready. If you like, this is followed by a first look or a short photo shoot before the ceremony. I like to divide couple shoots into small sections—for example, a short moment in the afternoon and again at sunset. The light is then particularly soft and beautifully calm. It's important to me that you don't feel like you have to “perform for the photos.” My shoots usually last 20 to 30 minutes.

What do you offer?

I accompany weddings photographically – primarily digitally, but also analog if desired. You can book analog photography as an add-on, as well as high-quality video recordings. In addition to classic highlight videos, I also offer analog Super 8 films—they have a unique aesthetic that cannot be achieved digitally. In addition, there is the option of designing a handmade wedding album—high-quality, simple, and timeless. All extras can be booked flexibly, even retrospectively.

How long have you been working as a wedding photographer?

I have been photographing weddings for almost a decade—with all the little and big moments that go with it. This experience helps me to remain calm and clear even under time pressure, changing light, or spontaneous changes. I know when it's time to be present—and when it's better to just observe.

Why are some pictures in black and white?

I choose black and white when it gives the moment more calm or depth. Some situations simply tell more in black and white. If you prefer certain pictures in color, that is of course possible.

Can we also book analog or Super 8 with you?

Yes, I offer both analog photography and Super 8 videos as add-ons. Both create a special atmosphere: a little rawer, more direct. If you like that, you can easily book it – even after the fact.

If you are getting married in Tuscany and are looking for photography that feels elegant, honest and personal, I would love to hear more about your plans.
